Pretty close to Largo Somalia, this restaurant surely knows how to make you feel at home, famous for its fish it also offer many typical dishes of Roman cuisine.
At Mamma Angelina you will find a lovely atmosphere, and with this being said I could close here this review, its hard to find the right words to describe this restaurant and all the characteristics that make it unique.
But let’s go into more detail, the restaurant is small, there are only two rooms, one inside and one outside, the furniture is classic and warm due to the presence of wood everywhere, from the walls to the sideboard for wine. The menu is quite varied and presents different fish dishes and many traditional Roman dishes out of the menu.
The wine offer is complete, it also has international choices. The owner and chef of this restaurant, Andrea dell’Olmo, is a very blunt and sincere person, he could talk to you for the entire evening, telling you the story and the sacrifices made by his parents to open this restaurant or about that time he hosted the journalists of Milk Street for a report about Italian cuisine, however, each story is interrupted by many customers or friends who must greet him before leaving, the greatest satisfaction for a chef.
