Armando Al Pantheon

Open since 1961, one of the most symbolic restaurants of Roman cuisine, a few steps away from the Pantheon.

It all started in 1961 when Armando Gargioli took over this place, at the time an old restaurant facing an identity crisis. Initially it was a bottle shop with kitchen, over the years has become what it is today, a restaurant where you can surely eat quality Roman cuisine. Many famous Italian and non-Italian celebrities such us Alessandro Cattelan, Matt Dillon, Dario Fo and Emilia Clarke have passed through these parts.

Armando al Pantheon is now a point of reference for those who want to take a break after a morning walk around the monuments, or for those who want to dine with true Roman flavors. The restaurant is small, two rooms with a maximum of 25/30 seats, but the tables are all well spaced from each other. For the wines, you can only choose from Italian labels, but the choice is wide and well-curated.
